Велика нам је радост и част да вас обавјестимо, да су у славу божију и молитвама светих апостола Петра и Павла заштитника наше парохије данас у четвртак 11. августа 2016. започели радови на нашем имању. Права фаза предвиђа рашчишћавање земљишта, изградња зауставне траке и припреме земљишта за освећење темеља.
2015.
Ванредна парохијска скупштина одржана 18. октобра 2015. г. одобрила је продају постојеће зграде гдје се до сада вршило богослужење на Beaver
Ruin Rd. Lilburn да би кренули са изградњом цркве и црквене сале на новом земљишту (1558
Hewatt Rd. Lilburn, GA).
Нови концепт план за цркву је одобрен. Сада се воде разговори са потецијалним извођачима радова и цивилним инжињерима
2014.
9. марта 2014. г. отплаћено земљиште, четири месеца пре предвиђеног рока.Од марта до децембра воде се разговори са потецијалним извођачима радова, архитектима, цивилним инжињерима и одлучује се о изгледу цркве.
2012
На Видовдан 28. јуна купљено ново црквено земљиште. Од 4. децембра 2011.до 28. јуна 2012. г. студициозно, и врло темељито прегледано је преко педесет потецијалних земљишта, што је захтевало доста труда, залагања и времена свих члановаГрађевинског одбора. Ново имање је куп-љено на локацији 1558
Hewatt Rd, Lilburn 30047 чија је цена износила $185,000.00. Од јула, до краја године врши се реновирање куће која се налази на имању.
2011
27. фебрура 2011. г. Приликом посете Његовог Преосвештенства Г. Митрофана, на његов предлог, а на одушевљење свих присутних оснива се Грађевински фонд за куповину новог земљишта. Том приликом прикупљен je први новaц за овај фонд у износу од $1,764. Децембра 4, на празник Ваведења Пресвете Богородице оснива сеГрађевински одбор са циљем тражења адекватног објекта или локације за изградњу нове цркве и пратећих објеката, као и организовање Грађевинског фонда у који ће у наредних седам месеци бити прикупљено $60

It is our great
joy and privilege to announce that today, August 11th, 2016
first phase of construction has begun on our property. Glory
to God on this momentous day and as we pray to our patrons
Sts. Peter and Paul to guide us on this journey, we are thankful
for all the blessings that God has bestow upon this parish.
First phase of the construction entails: clearing of the land,
construction turning lane from the main road onto the property
and preparing the land for groundbreaking.
2015.
On Sunday, October 18, 2015 we had a special Parish assembly,
where with a uniform vote of all present parishioners,
our building committee received support for sale of the
existing building on Beaver Ruin Rd, that we have used
for Church services for many year. With these funds, we
can proceed with construction of the new church and parish
hall on our new property (1558 Hewatt Rd. Lilburn, GA).
The new concept plan for the church was approved. We are holding discussions
with potential contractors and civil engineers.
2014.
On March 9th 2014, we paid off our entireland purchase loan, this being
four monthsahead of schedule.From March to December this year, we areholding
discussions with potential contractors,architects, civil engineers
and making deci-sions on the design of the church.
2012
On Vidovdan Feast, June 28, our Parishbought a new church property. From Decem-ber
4th 2011 to June 28th 2012, our BuildingCommittee had thoroughly examined overfifty
potential properties, which required a lotof time, effort, and commitment of
all themembers of this committee. Our new propertywas purchased on: 1558 Hewatt
Rd, Lilburn30047 for $ 185,000.00. Shortly after that, weproceeded with renovation
of the house, whichis located on the property. The renovationlasted from July
until the end of the year.
2011
On the 27th of February 2011, during the Visitof His
Grace Bishop Mitrofan, we received hissupport and suggestion
to establish a buildingfund for the purchase of the land for
the newchurch. This idea was welcomed and delightedall present
parish members. On this occasionwe also collected the first
donations for thisfund in the amount of $ 1.764. On December4,
the Feast of the Presentation of theTheotokos in the Temple,
we have establishedour Building Committee with the main goal
ofseeking a property or a location, to build thenew church
and its facilities. We also organ-ized a construction fund
that in the next sevenmonths, had over $ 60,000 in donations. |
