Поштовани парохијани,
     Наступа вријеме годишњих одмора и када наши ђаци и студенти одлазе на заслужени љетни распуст. Сигуран сам да ће и ове године бити наших парохијана који ће посјетити фамилију и пријатеље у Србији, БиХ... Свима вама који остajете овде или путујете желим срећно и Богом благословено љето Господње.
     Такође захваљујем се нашим вјероучитељима на уложеном труду и раду са нашом дјецом као и свима вама мојим драгим парохијанима који сте до сада на разне начине у склaду са вашим могућностима помагали нашу цркву.

     My Dear Parishoners
     It’s that time of the year when our kids are going on their well deserved summer vacation. I know many of you will use this time to go and visit your loved ones near and far. I hope that all of you, traveling or not, have a safe and relaxing time, and may God bless and watch over you and your families.
     Also, it is very important to stress out our gratitude and sincerest thanks to our Sunday School teachers, and all of you my dear brothers and sisters who have diligently dedicated your time and efforts to help our church in your own ways. All the help and time you give does not go unnoticed and unappreciated.

Draga braco i sestre,

Poznato nam je da nas nasa Pravoslavna vjera uci sveopstem covjekoljublju, i da nas poucava vrlinama tolerantnosti, humanosti, istinoljubivosti, postenja… Sve ovo nabrojano i vise jesu osnovna moralna nacela koja bi trebalo da krase svakog pravoslavnog hriscanina, i da postanu njegova licna moralna ubjedjenja. Na ovome putu koji jeste put neprestanog usavrsavanja i te kako nam moze pomoci vjeronauka, a pogotovo kada imamo na umu nasu omladinu. Nasa djeca i omladina koja se vaspitava i obrazuje u duhu Svetosavlja i Pravoslavlja, bice garant novih generacija koje ce jedinstveno, slozno i obozeno danas-sutra moci da nadju odgovore na sve izazove jedne parohije koje pred njih postavi vrijeme.
Zato molimo sve roditelje koji imaju djecu da dodjete u nedelju 13. februra, i da poslije sv. Liturgije prisustvujete sastanku za roditelje i da ujedno izvrsimo upis djece za nedeljnu skolu.
Neka nam se nasa djeca obrazuju u Pravoslavlju, a pored toga neka uce i o nasem jeziku, istoriji i kulturi da bi postali dobri clanovi drustva, svojim roditeljima na radost, a Srpskoj crkvi i srpskom rodu na ponos.

Dear brothers and sisters,

We often say to others how beautiful our Serbian church is and that nobody has the tradition like the Serbs...... Our Slavas, Badnje Vece with the burning of Yule log, Vidovdan are just few sacred traditions that set us apart from the rest of the world. The only way for us to preserve those traditions, to carry them on for many years to come is through our children since they are our future. We can do this if we make the effort and bring them to church. Have them participate in our St. Sava program, teach them about Vidovdan and who Car Lazar was. We are very fortunate to have people who are willing to help us with this. Who are willing to teach our children why our church is important and the meaning of slava - all this is possible through Sunday school.
*****Parents, babas, uncles, Kumovi-remember one of your duties before God is to teach your godchild the importance of church.
Please come on Sunday, Feb13th to register your child for Sunday school. It is important to come this Sunday so we can sooner start and that our teachers know for how many children to prepare and so the children can be placed in appropriated group.
All children are welcomed!
