Чудотворна Корено-Курска Икона Мајке Божје
Чудотворна Корено-Курска Икона Мајке Божје ’’Знаменије’’доћи ће у наш свети храм у недјељу, 7.фебруара у 4:30 (p.m.) часова (једини могућ термин). Служиће се молебан и акатист Пресветој Богородици. Курско-Корену икону је извезао из Русије у Србију 1919. године Архиепископ курски и обојански Теофан. На молбу генерала Врангела она је на кратко враћена у Русију и остала на Криму до опште евакуације Бијеле армије 1920. године. Након тога Курско-Корена икона је опет пренијета у Србију, гдје је боравила до 1944. године.
Митрополит Анастасије (Грибановски) је превезао светињу у Њемачку, а одатле 1957. године у САД. Од тада Курска икона борави у храму који јој је посвећен, при Архијерејском синоду Руске заграничне цркве у Њујорку.




Kolo Sestre Generalna Skupstina/ General Assembly - February 21st, 2010
- Serbian Sister Circle will organize General Assembly on February 21st at the church, after the Divine Litrurgy. We are asking all ladies from our Parish to attend, especially registered Kolo Sisters in good standing and help us elect new Kolo Board. All ideas and recommendations are welcome.
- Kolo Srpskih Sestara nase zajendice ce takodje odrzati Godisnju skupstinu u nedelju 24. januarau crkvi odmah posle Svete Liturgije. Molimo sve zene nase parohije, a posebno registrovane clanice Kola Srpskih Sestara da dodju da izaberemo Upravu Kola za narednu godinu.

IN MEMORIAM:
Sa velikom tugom i bolom Vas obavestavamo da je nas veliki prijatelj ,veliki covjek i gospodin Dusan Mijatovic preminuo 1. januara 2010.godine. Izrazavamo nase najiskrenije saucesce njegovoj porodici: supruzi Jovanki, kcerki Oliveri, sinu Sinisi i njegovoj supruzi Sanji i njihovoj djeci Kristini, Jovanu i Stefanu i mnogobrojnim prijateljima.

Nedeljna Skola Za Djecu–Pocela sa radom
Nedeljna skola je pocela 20. septembra. Profesori u nedeljnoj skoli su Martha McJilton i Manuela Opacic. Novi skolski program nudi djecacima i djevojcicama  da se kroz upoznavanje religije, istorije i jezika druze sa svojim vrsnjacima. Za sve informacije oko upisa obratite se Ocu Sasi, Manueli Opacic i Marthi McJilton.

Folklor
Skola folklora je pocela sa radom 20. septembra. Svi zainteresovani neka se jave gospodinu Draganu Opacicu.

The Wonderworking Kursk-Root Icon of the Mother of God will be in our parish church on Sunday, February 7 at 4:30 p.m.(the only available time). A moleban and akathist hymn will be served.

With big sadness and grief we are letting you know that Mr. Dusan Mijatovic, recently passed away. Mr.Dusan Mijatovic passed away on January 1st, 2010. Our sincere condolences to his family: wife Jovanka, daughter Olivera, son Sinisa and Sinisa's wife Sanja and kids Kristina, Jovana and Stefan and friends.

Sunday School for Kids–Started
Sunday School started on September the 20th. The Sunday school teachers are Manuela Opacic and Martha McJilton. Watch young boys and girls channel their religious studies, curiosities and energy in a new adventurous program now being offered. To register your child or children and for all other information about the school please ask Father Sasa, Manuela Opacic and Martha McJilton.

Folklor
School of folklor started on September the 20th. To register please talk to Mr. Dragan Opacic.

NEDJELJNA SKOLA ZA DJECU

Casovi pocinju oko 11:20 posle zavrsetka Svete Litugrije.

I tokom 2009/2010 skolske godine planiramo odrzavati redovnu nastavu nase crkvene Nedeljne skole za decu na srpskom i engleskom jeziku. Ako zelite da upisete svoje dete (decu) u skolu, molimo da kontaktirate uciteljice Manuelu Opacic i Marthu McJilton ili naseg svestenika.

SUNDAY SCHOOL FOR KIDS

Classes start around 11:20 AM after the end of the Liturgy.

During 2009/2010 school year we plam to continue Sunday school classes in Serbian and English. If you would like to enroll your kid(s) please contact teachers Manuela Opacic and Martha McJilton or Fr. Sasa.
